Horseback Riding in Beautiful Southwest Colorado
ONE
HOUR RIDE . . . a labyrinth of trails within the San Juan National
Forest. Our guests can ride terrain suited to their abilities and
interests! $25.00 TWO HOUR RIDE . . . the trails continue! We may cross
some creeks or spend some time in a meadow sharpening our skills. This
is a great ride for those wanting to spend more time in the saddle! $50.00 
CUSTOMIZING YOUR RIDE . . . We can combine the
cave ride and the two hour ride for a great three hour excursion .
. .$70.00. Or how about spending the day above timberline on our Engineer
Mountain Day Ride! $110.00 We can also accommodate most large groups
with a small group atmosphere.
CAVE RIDE . . . This is a family favorite.
A two hour excursion includes a short hike to a natural water cave we
explore by flashlight! Bring a light snack or some water for the short
break we take after the hike back up to the horses. A great ride for
those who want to stay out longer without a two hour commitment to the
saddle! The total riding time is about one hour and 40 minutes. $50.00
HERMOSA CLIFFS . . . This is a five hour
excursion. Bring lunch, plenty of water and dress in layers. This is a
unique ride that allows participants to see a lot of country in elevated
parks forests. The ride originates at Elbert Creek and climbs about
1500 and we spend most of the day around 9,500. Since Aspen trees
dominate the forest, it is always a favorite "fall color
ride"! This is a fairly strenuous ride and thus riders should be
in good physical condition. Kids must be 12 years old. $95.00 |
